The DCABES2008 Conference

July 27-31,2008 Dalian,China

First Call For Paper

The Seventh International Conference on Distributed Computing and Applications for Business, Engineering and Sciences ( DCABES2008) will be held on 27-31 July 2008 in Dalian of Liaoning Province. As in   previous conferences, DCABES intends to bring together researchers and  developers in the academic field and industry from around the world to share  their research experience and to explore research collaboration in the areas of distributed parallel processing and applications.

Proceedings of the DCABES have been indexed by the ISTP of ISI since 2001.Selected papers have been published in special issues of international journals.DCABES2005 was held in the University of Greenwich,U.K., DCABES2006 was held in the fascinating city of Hangzhou by Jiangnan University, China.DCABES2007 was held in Yichang by Wuhan University of Technology, China. Many of the excellent papers  presented at DCABES have been included in special issue of International Journal of Computer Mathematics(IJCM),SCI source journal). This series of meetings has established significant impact in the areas of distributed computing for its comprehensive dissemination of the state-of-the-art research work and applications. The DCABES 2008 proceedings will be indexed by the ISTP of ISI as usual and pending to be indexed by the EI as well.

Potential participants are invited to submit an extended abstract/full paper in 4 to 6 pages, and/or a proposal to organize a technical session. All accepted abstracts should be extended by the authors to a full paper (maximum 6 pages),which will be published as a book of proceedings (with ISBN) to be distributed at the conference. Selected papers of the DCABES 2007 proceedings will be nominated to International Journal of Computer Mathematics (SCI source journal) and Journal of Algorithms and Computational Technology (pending SCI indexed),a new journal started in January 2007, after the Symposium. No page charge for these journal submissions.
